Introducing Prime Plus
Aging does not begin at 55 or 75 or any other arbitrary age. It is something that is ongoing our entire lives. As we anticipate or live with retirement or part-time work, we find time for new interests and new questions to be answered.
Are you considering a career change? Are you looking for ways to enjoy the arts? Is your home user friendly so that you can age in place?
Enriching this phase of life is the goal for Illinois Central College's new Prime Plus program for retirees and soon-to-be retirees and those who are beginning to think about that stage. You will find these programs interspersed with Adult Community Programs and though these workshops are planned for retirees, these can be useful to any age group and anyone can attend. The emphasis is on engaging in all aspects of life.

- What's ahead for helping our community: Many of us have time where we can improve our community. Bring us your ideas and interests so that we can identify projects for Prime Plus than can make a difference.
- What's ahead for optimizing aging in place: Identifying key challenges and issues of aging and keeping our community an age friendly place are important parts of the focus for Prime Plus. An Advisory Committee is in place to seek out community input and provide leadership.
